When Silke Hermann and I developed the concept of #OrgPhysics, in 2011, we thought of it first and foremost as a model for understanding organizational development (OD) more fully.
It then dawned on us that this was also likely to be the 1st robust theory of #leadership in organizations: Something that most academics and practitioners in the field of management and organizations would deem impossible to come up with.
Today, seven years on, the notion of OrgPhysics and of the three structures of organizations has been spreading nicely. Academic recognition of the model, unsurprisingly, has not quite happened yet… 😉
