You might rightfully ask: Why are you even putting this book on this list?
Because here are some truths about it: This book is muddled, half-baked, jumbled, redundant, upside-down, confused and often outright wrong (please do not read the chapter on how to approach transformation!). But as flawed as this volume may be: Humanocracy may still be useful to make the case for transformation. Some of the cases described in the book (like Handelsbanken) are excellent and convincing. some of the writing is crisp and beautiful. So this book can help managers to get into the mood for Beta.
But read with care and do NOT believe anything the authors say about “experimentation”!
